“Dyslexia has taught me something valuable. How to work! My greatest curse, and challenge, has turned into my greatest gift. I have looked in the mirror and found myself doubting my very existence, that is, until I started doing art and that I could actually be good at something — that I wasn’t just one big dummy. Art is the one thing given to me at birth. Art is my truth, my salvation, for it mirrors to me that I am talented and of worth. I want my art to cause people to do a double take, having to think on what reality is, and what is reflected.”
