“After receiving a diagnosis of a neurological and cognitive disorder, I struggled with confidence and school. My challenges pushed me and tested my confidence and self worth. Overcoming these hurdles and achieving academic success drives me to help others reach their full potential and fuels my commitment to service above self. My volunteer work with Special Olympics has opened my eyes to the challenges those students face in education. I made it my mission to give back and help children with different abilities. I plan to continue my studies in the field of marketing. I hope to use this degree to continue spreading the word about Special Olympics...”
