“Running the streets, stealing, lying, ditching school, running away... that was me, that was who I was. I was driven; driven to do bad... The one person, who I could confide in the whole time , was my grandma. She gave me drive; drive to love myself.... I would love to go to college to become a social worker so I can help kids who feel lost, like my grandma did for me... For the first time, in a long time, I believe in myself and I believe in the kids I want to help.”
