Drives You?” scholarship program allows students to express their “inner drive” and personal ambitions with a simple 500 word essay — No other requirements!
The Jiffy Lube “What Drives You?”
educational and scholarship program
began in Utah in 2003. Since then, this
program has been offered by local
Jiffy Lube owners in 17 states
nationwide. This unique education and
community service program is
currently offered in Utah, New Mexico
and regions of Arkansas, Colorado,
Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oklahoma,
Oregon and SW Washington.

Two Categories open to all Utah High School Students:
Licensed Teen Drivers
"your turn behind the wheel" Driver Education Students
2 Overall Awards - $6,500 each
6 Finalist Awards - $1,500 each
Four Regional $500 School Awards for most essays
Deadline: March 11th, 2024!
Program Overview
Three Finalists will be selected in both categories from the 500 word "What Drives You?" essays. Each finalist will be guaranteed a $1500 award and then will submit a unique 1-2 min. video that expands on their essay in their own candid words, visuals, etc. An overall $6500 scholarship winner will be chosen from these videos. |
